Weltman Attorneys Named to the 2026 Ohio Super Lawyer & Rising Star Lists

OHIO - Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, a full-service creditors' rights law firm with over 96 years of client service, is honored to announce three of its shareholders were named to the 2026 Ohio Super Lawyers list and two attorneys were named to the Ohio Rising Stars list.

Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.

Because of this rigorous selection process, only 5% of all practicing lawyers are selected to the Super Lawyers list for their region and practice area. Additionally, only 2.5% of all attorneys under age 40 will be selected to the relevant Rising Stars list each year.

Cleveland Shareholder Scott Weltman: Scott has been a driving force behind Weltman's growth and evolution for more than 36 years. After becoming a shareholder in 1996, he served as the firm's Managing Shareholder from 2012 through 2021, helping guide its strategic expansion and continued success. In the early 1990s, Scott played a key role in developing Weltman's Probate Recovery practice. He is also recognized for his extensive experience handling complex commercial litigation, helping clients navigate high-stakes disputes with strategic, results-driven counsel.
