Weltman Welcomes Attorney Chauncey Hitchcock to the Detroit Office

DETROIT - Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, a full-service creditors' rights law firm with over 95 years of client service, is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Clifton (Chauncey) Hitchcock to the firm’s Detroit, MI office.

“We are so excited to welcome Chauncey to the Detroit office, the commercial business unit and the firm,” says Shareholder and Commercial Collections Group Chair Jim Kozelek. “His experience in creditors rights, large volume litigation as well as his corporate and governmental experience make him the perfect fit for the firm. Chauncey brings a can-do attitude every day and is already digging in to his work!”

Chauncey brings more than 25 years of professional experience to his legal practice, with expertise spanning real estate, corporate law, and collections. His professional background includes in-house counsel roles for national and regional corporations across real estate, education, automotive, and healthcare industries.

Outside of work, Chauncey is an avid sports fan, a licensed youth sports coach, and a descendant of Notre Dame football legend Elmer Layden. He enjoys reading, movies, golf, and long walks with his dogs. Family, community, and excellence guide both his personal and professional life.
