Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA Attorneys Named to the 2021 Ohio Super Lawyers List

CLEVELAND
— Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, a full-service creditors' rights law firm in its 90th year of client service, is honored to announce three of its attorneys were named to the 2021 Ohio Super Lawyers list, with an additional two attorneys being named to the 2021 Ohio Rising Stars list.

Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.

Because of this rigorous selection process, only 5% of all practicing lawyers are selected to the Super Lawyers list for their region and practice area. Additionally, only 2.5% of all attorneys under age 40 will be selected to the relevant Rising Stars list each year.

Weltman is pleased to have the following attorneys named to the 2021 Ohio Super Lawyers list:

Allen Reis, shareholder: Allen practices consumer collections out of the firm’s Columbus office. He has been named to Super Lawyers lists over ten different times.

Larry Rothenberg, shareholder: Larry is a Cleveland-based veteran real estate attorney. Larry has been recognized by Super Lawyers in 2004, 2005, and 2008-2021.

Scott Weltman, shareholder: Scott primarily practices commercial and consumer collections, operating out of the firm’s Cleveland office. Scott was first named to the 2005 Ohio Rising Stars list and then recognized by Super Lawyers in 2007 and 2010-2021.

The following two attorneys have been selected to the 2021 Ohio Rising Stars list:

Stefanie Kempfer Collier, attorney: Stefanie practices out of the firm’s Cleveland office and focuses on repossession and collateral recovery, compliance analysis and review, and commercial and residential evictions. Stefanie has been named to the Rising Stars list since 2019.

David Mullen, attorney: David is based in the Cleveland office and practices consumer collections, specifically subrogation and education loan recovery and litigation. He too has been named to the Rising Stars list in 2019, 2020, and now 2021.
