David maintains a constant state of readiness – so he can quickly react in any situation.
With a double major in English and history, and a minor in creative writing, David received his undergraduate degree just in time for the big job recession to hit. While he held a number of public-facing positions through his undergrad years, including writing tutor and park ranger, he decided to become the first in his family to pursue a law degree. Upon receiving his juris doctorate, he practiced in immigration law, criminal defense, employment law, personal injury, class actions, and insurance defense. Through these experiences, David developed his ability to advocate for his client’s rights.
In 2016, David found his niche in creditors' rights, where he practices the same degree of dedication to his clients. Representing banks, credit unions, credit card companies, and private schools in the collection of their consumer accounts, David helps his clients maintain healthy credit markets by recovering on their losses and staying ahead of foreseeable problems. In 2019, he was named to the list of “Ohio Rising Stars” by Ohio Super Lawyers, an honor awarded annually to no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state.
An avid rugby player, David recently became certified as a referee after playing for six years at the men’s club level. He likes traveling around the Midwest and abroad, reading and writing fiction, cooking, and gardening.
