Weltman Attorney Ricardo Johnstone Selected to the 2021 OSBA Leadership Academy

Topics: Real Estate

CINCINNATI
- Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman), a full-service creditors' rights law firm in its 90th year of client service, is pleased to announce the selection of attorney Ricardo Johnstone to participate in the 2021 Ohio State Bar Association Leadership Academy. The Leadership Academy strives to be Ohio’s premier academy designed to nurture and prepare lawyers for effective leadership in the Association, the profession, and their communities. The Academy is limited to 24 lawyers total across the state who have practiced law between one and 10 years.

Ricardo was nominated for this honor by real estate default group chair Benjamin Hoen. “Ricardo has done a great job representing the firm’s clients and the firm. This selection is a testament to Ricardo’s great work, and reputation in the community,” shared Benjamin.

“It means a lot to me to have been nominated by Ben and to have been one of only 24 lawyers in Ohio to be selected. I’m looking forward to enhancing my skills, including leadership, branding, writing, and public speaking – as well as the opportunity to network with a diverse range of lawyers from across the state. I plan on taking advantage of all the leadership information that is provided to me to help me become a better leader,” reflected Ricardo.

Operating out of the Cincinnati office, Ricardo practices in the firm’s Real Estate Default Group. His focus areas include foreclosure and its alternatives, eviction, and litigation and defense. Ricardo earned his J.D. from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law and is a member of both the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Ohio Bar Association.
