If you’ve got a subrogation recovery question, Ted has the answer.

Even before he was sworn in as an attorney over 20 years ago, Ted was immersed in the subrogation and recovery industry. Over the years, he has developed extensive knowledge on all types of subrogation claims – from insurance fraud to complex litigation cases such as product defects or fire losses. Today, clients, fellow attorneys, and other industry professionals regularly come to Ted for his interpretation of the law.

Working directly with subrogation managers and recovery managers at insurance companies, fleet companies, and car rental companies, Ted strives to provide timely responses to questions regarding subrogation claims. When evaluating recovery potential, he determines which laws apply, analyzes the remedies available, and provides his recommendation as to whether or not it is worth pursuing. His goal is to move files as quickly as possible, and to turn judgments obtained into actual dollars collected.

Ted also serves as the managing attorney for Weltman’s Cleveland, Ohio office. In his role, he is responsible for spearheading the employee engagement committee and other office-specific initiatives that help shape the culture of the firm.

Ted is a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), where he was conferred the Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP)® Designation. In addition to meeting stringent academic and experience requirements, those possessing the designation are bound by the Code of Professional Ethics of Certified Subrogation Recovery Professionals.

Ted grew up in a large family in a suburb of Cleveland; he is one of eight children! He is a huge sports fan and enjoys watching all of the Cleveland teams. In his free time, he plays golf and volleyball with local recreational leagues.
