Weltman Welcomes Dan Friedlander

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. is pleased to welcome new associate Daniel A. Friedlander.

Mr. Friedlander joins the Firm after more than 19 years with the National City Corporation (now PNC Financial Services Group Inc.) law department where he was a Vice President and Senior Counsel. His responsibilities included the management and handling of various litigation matters including commercial defense, UCC, trust and fiduciary, employment, intellectual property, brokerage, mortgage and collection counterclaims.

Mr. Friedlander received his J.D.from the Franklin Thomas Backus School of Law at Case Western Reserve University (1983) and has a B.A. with honors in English Literature from the University of Michigan (1980).  Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Friedlander served as Senior Law Clerk to Associate Justice Ralph S. Locher on the Ohio Supreme Court (1983-1987).  After completing his clerkship, Mr. Friedlander joined a well-respected Cleveland law firm where he specialized in commercial and insurance defense litigation..  A member of the American, Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations, Mr. Friedlander is licensed in the state court of Ohio and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Ohio.

Mr. Friedlander will be practicing in the Litigation & Defense department of the Cleveland office.
