Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman), the nation’s largest creditors’ rights law firm*, congratulates Douglas N. Hattaway on his recent success with the bar exam, and Joseph M. McCandlish on his movement into the firm’s Bankruptcy Group.

Douglas Hattaway started at Weltman as a law clerk in June of 2009. Due to his recent success with the bar exam, he will be joining the firm’s Consumer Collections group in the Grove City office. Mr. Hattaway earned his B.A. in Literature from the University of South Florida in 2002, his M.A. in Literature from Florida State University in 2007, and his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2010. A member of the Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations, Mr. Hattaway is licensed in the state courts of Ohio.
Joseph McCandlish will be joining the Bankruptcy Group of the Columbus office. Mr. McCandlish has been with Weltman for more than eight years focused on collection services and is eager to embark upon this new role at Weltman. He earned his B.S. in Finance from The Ohio State University in 1994 and his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 2001. A member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Mr. McCandlish is licensed in Ohio, Florida and Arizona. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Southern District of OH), and the U.S. District Courts in Florida.
