Pennsylvania Courts Close to the Public

On March 18th, 2020, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court issued an Order closing all Pennsylvania courts to the public, effective from the close of business today through April 3rd, 2020, at the earliest. All in-person hearings, except for a limited amount of emergency situations, are and will be canceled during this period. However, the Order does give the individual county courts the ability to conduct telephonic and/or video hearings if they so choose. The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania may choose to modify and/or extend these closures as additional information is made available.

A copy of the Order can be found here
