Lauren Ferguson Receives Crain's Cleveland Business Excellence in HR Award

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, a full-service creditors' rights law firm with over 90 years of client service, is pleased to announce that manager of human resources, Lauren Ferguson, has been awarded the Crain’s Cleveland Business Excellence in HR 2022 Award. This annual program is designed to honor and highlight the full scope of work done by Northeast Ohio's HR professionals, from companies large and small, and from all sectors. An event was held to honor recipients of this award on September 13, 2022. 

“Lauren is available to assist employees, managers, and the leadership team with any task that is called upon,” the nomination said. “She’s an incredible coach, a great listener, and an unbelievably empathetic person, always looking out for the best interests of each and every employee.”

Lauren has been with the firm for almost six years, starting as an HR business partner in 2016 and was promoted to her role as manager shortly after in 2018. As manager, Lauren provides excellent leadership to her department for recruitment, distribution of benefits, and training for the entirety of Weltman’s seven office locations.

“I am honored to have the distinction as a Rising Star in HR,” says Lauren. “I am truly passionate about the work I do and the people I do it for. Thank you to Crain’s and my colleagues for this recognition.”
