As the face of her client, Jill aims to leave a good impression with every interaction.

At just four years of age, Jill informed her parents she would be an attorney someday. Always fascinated with the law, she sought to absorb everything from strange and unique state laws, to the impact of laws upon women. After earning her undergraduate degree in political science and philosophy, she went straight into law school.

As a creditors' rights attorney practicing in consumer collections and subrogation, Jill represents community banks, credit unions, and other major financial institutions, as well as other businesses that extend credit to consumers. When they need assistance with defaulted credit cards, student loans, vehicle leases, retail installment contracts, and various other loans and accounts, she utilizes her unique skillset to help them recover quickly and efficiently. Jill always tries to put herself in the shoes of the defendant, so she can empathize with the circumstances they are facing.

A few years ago, Jill received a call from a credit union client regarding a member who had missed several car loan insurance payments. After several months of nonpayment and multiple warnings, the client decided to repossess the vehicle. After the repossession had taken place, the member appeared at the branch and threatened to sue for alleged damages to the vehicle. Using a compassionate approach, Jill worked collaboratively with the member’s attorney, and together they were able to reach a peaceful resolution.
Jill grew up in a small town in the lower peninsula of Michigan, but she now calls Cincinnati, Ohio home. She enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her son’s school, and traveling. Her goal is to someday travel to all seven continents; so far, she has made it to 34 states, 17 countries, and three continents.
