Andrew C. Voorhees

When you spend 100% of your time collecting for other businesses, you get to know their biggest concerns – and you learn how to address them quickly and efficiently. When credit professionals come to Andy, they are usually frustrated by their lack of success in getting paid on their past due notes, contracts, and invoices. Andy works with professionals at all levels, from asset recovery managers, to credit managers, all the way up to chief financial officers. They count on him to be responsive, knowledgeable, and resourceful in solving their problems, whether they need to recover money or collateral.

Andy has a passion for history and writing, and a knack for public speaking. He regularly delivers presentations on all aspects of the recovery process and is a frequent contributor to legal publications on a wide variety of legal and collection topics. Similarly, Andy makes it his priority to keep his clients informed of the laws and the details affecting their case. He takes the time to educate them on what happens at a deposition and the procedures at trial, so they know exactly what to expect.

When his clients have a better understanding of the collections process, Andy believes they are in a better position to enjoy a more collaborative effort by both parties, and thus, a greater chance of a successful recovery. In an industry that is constantly evolving, his clients know they can lean on him to help them digest changes in the law that can have a significant impact on their business operations. 

Outside of the office, Andy can usually be found at home with his wife and two children. Together, they love rooting for Cleveland sports teams, reading about history, or attending school activities.
