Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA Welcomes New Bankruptcy Attorney to Columbus Office

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman), a full-service creditors' rights law firm now in its 88th year of client service, welcomes Attorney Laura L. Peters to its Columbus, Ohio Bankruptcy Practice Group. Ms. Peters will practice in both consumer and commercial bankruptcy. 

Ms. Peter's bankruptcy practice developed through a range of roles over the years, including running a private practice where she represented debtors in consumer bankruptcy cases. She has represented individuals and entities in various financial matters, including Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy filings, foreclosure defense, dissolutions, and wind down of small businesses.

Ms. Peters is licensed in Ohio, and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and Columbus Bar Association. She earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law, and her B.A. in criminal justice studies from Kent State University.
