Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman), a full-service creditors' rights law firm now in its 87th year of client service, is pleased to announce that Shareholder Keri P. Ebeck was awarded the 2017 American Legal & Financial Network's 4th Annual JPEG: Picture the Future Award.
The ALFN is a national network of legal and residential mortgage banking professionals whose mission is to provide leadership, education, and professional development. The award program is part of the ALFN’s award-winning young professionals network, the Junior Professionals & Executives Group (JPEG). Ms. Ebeck is one of 11 attorneys who were selected from an open nomination process that included a blind peer review. Candidates were judged solely on the merits of their achievements and their commitment to the mortgage servicing industry. Nominees must be 40 years of age or younger, or have less than five years of industry experience to qualify.
The ALFN reveals its list of stand-out young professionals to watch during its annual ANSWERS conference, an invitation-only mortgage servicing and regulatory compliance event now in its 15th year. This year's conference was held July 16-19 in Austin, Texas. A copy of the publication highlighting this year's winners is available here.
Ms. Ebeck is based in Weltman's Pittsburgh office. She serves on the Bankruptcy and Women in Legal Leadership Committees for the ALFN. She is also a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, where she was recently elected Secretary for the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section. She also belongs to the Pennsylvania Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Legal League 100. She is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy-related matters for industry organizations and Weltman clients. Ms. Ebeck earned her J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2003, and a B.A. in political science from King’s College in 2000.
