Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA Junior Shareholder Casey B. Hicks Receives MReport's Women in Housing Award

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman), a full-service creditors' rights law firm now in its 87th year of client service, is pleased to announce that Junior Shareholder Casey B. Hicks was selected to the 2017 MReport Women in Housing List. 

The Women in Housing List is published by MReport Magazine, one of the country's leading sources for mortgage banking news. Ms. Hicks was one of 60 qualified women that were selected from hundreds of nominations across the county. The Women of Housing list is divided into three categories: Power Players, which honors nine C-suite and executive-level women; Leading Ladies, recognizing top female executives and managers; and Emerging Leaders, which features up-and-coming talents who are 35 years of age or younger. Selected as one of the "Leading Ladies", Ms. Hicks was recognized for her integrity, professionalism, and consistently positive attitude, among other notable achievements. 

MReport publishes the annual list in its special Women in Housing issue, available here. The women will also be recognized at the Women in Housing Leadership Forum Five Star Conference, on September 20th in Dallas, Texas. 

Ms. Hicks is based in Weltman's Chicago office, where she is the Office Managing Attorney and a Junior Shareholder. She practices in the Real Estate Default Group, and has handled numerous cases on bankruptcy, collection, eviction, housing court, and foreclosure matters. Ms. Hicks earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 2006, and a B.A. in political science and law and society from Purdue University in 2003.
