Shareholder and Compliance Officer Eileen Bitterman Reappointed to the Ohio State Bar Association's Council of Delegates

CLEVELAND -- Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, a full-service creditors' rights law firm with over 95 years of client service, is thrilled to announce that Shareholder and Compliance Officer Eileen Bitterman was recently reappointed to the Ohio State Bar Association’s Council of Delegates for another term (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027).

The Council of Delegates is the Ohio Bar’s own “house of representatives,” with 165 members, proportionally representing each Ohio Bar district around the state and including the members of the board of governors as well as six at-large members. One of the primary responsibilities of the Council of Delegates is to vet committee and section proposals and determine if they will become priority legislation for the Association, thereby empowering our government affairs team to take them to the Ohio General Assembly (and to Congress and/or the Ohio Supreme Court, if appropriate) to be adopted.

“I am proud to be a part of the Ohio Council of Delegates and be a contributing voice to the policy making initiatives the Bar has for the state,” says Eileen. “I have been re-appointed to this role for over 10 years now and have been selected to be a part of the screening committee for proposal reviews as well. Advocacy for our industry and our state is essential in our profession and I am honored to serve in this capacity on behalf of the firm for our Ohio State Bar Association.”
