Shareholder Stuart Best Elected as President of the Michigan Creditors Bar Association (MCBA) Board

DETROIT -- Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, a full-service creditors' rights law firm with over 92 years of client service, is pleased to announce that shareholder Stuart Best has been elected as president of the Michigan Creditors Bar Association (MCBA) board.

Stuart has been a member of the MCBA board of directors since 2020 and Weltman has been a member for over 20 years. When asked about this new role, Stuart said, “We have some substantial challenges facing the collections industry in Michigan. Certain well-funded organizations are dedicating substantial funds to change the face of Michigan collections, to the detriment of our clients and the Michigan economy. In my new role, I will be using my knowledge of the collections industry, connections in Michigan government, and other organizations to combat these challenges.”
