Sophie Vincenti is an attorney whose path to the legal profession grew from a combination of curiosity, mentorship, and early hands-on experience. After graduating from college in Cincinnati, she returned home to pursue law school and began building her practical foundation through a series of clerkships—first in analytics-focused roles during college, and later in legal positions across insurance, government, and creditors’ rights firms. She originally joined Weltman as a law clerk, marking the start of her work in the collections industry.
Sophie’s experiences have shaped her into a disciplined, adaptive, and collaborative legal professional. Her background in research, writing, and analysis allows her to approach complex matters with precision, while her real-world exposure taught her how to navigate unfamiliar areas with confidence and flexibility. She strives to be a reliable and value-adding resource to both colleagues and clients—whether through thorough case preparation, clear communication, or a thoughtful, empathetic approach to problem-solving.
Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Sophie stays active and engaged outside the office. She enjoys traveling on a whim, discovering new recipes, playing tennis, attending concerts and comedy shows, and diving into a good non-legal book to unwind. Whether exploring new places or trying something different, she values experiences that broaden her perspective and bring balance to her professional life.
