Alexxys’ background is rooted in litigation, creditor-side representation, and high-volume case management. Prior to joining Weltman, she represented large residential management companies in landlord-tenant eviction and related bankruptcy matters, gaining extensive experience navigating procedural requirements, enforcing contractual rights, and managing matters across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Her litigation background includes motion practice, arbitration, trial work, and defending claims under consumer protection statutes, including the FDCPA, through arbitration to a full defense verdict. She has also played a key role in developing internal legal processes and efficiently managing complex caseloads. Alexxys’ experience in landlord-tenant, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation provides a strong foundation for handling subrogation matters involving liability analysis, damages assessment, and recovery strategy.
Known by clients and colleagues as strategic, adaptable, and thoughtful, Alexxys approaches each matter with a practical, detail-oriented mindset. She prioritizes evaluating every case individually to determine the most effective and efficient path forward, whether through litigation, early resolution, or risk assessment. Clients value her responsiveness, clear communication, and ability to provide actionable guidance while keeping matters moving toward resolution.
Outside of her legal practice, Alexxys enjoys running, golf, gaming, and staying connected to entertainment and media. She has participated in endurance events, including Disney’s Springtime Surprise races, and enjoys spending time with her wife and their Labrador Retriever, Tess. Originally from Northwest Ohio, she is also a proud supporter of the Cleveland Guardians and Ohio State Buckeyes.
