Effective June 1, 2013 the Fannie Mae (FNMA) and Freddie Mac (FHLMC) Designated Counsel Programs will retire. In order for servicers to refer real estate default matters to law firms for foreclosures on FNMA or FHLMC loans on or after June 1st, servicers will need to make sure they receive a "No Objection" from FNMA and/or FHLMC for that particular law firm and for the specific applicable jurisdiction.
Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman) is excited to announce that we received No Objections from both FNMA and FHLMC for the states of Florida, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio. We welcome the opportunity to partner with you in the process of submitting the necessary documentation to FNMA and FHLMC to receive a No Objection for Weltman. To ensure that you are submitting your request with confidence, we created a standardized package that will allow you to show FNMA/FHLMC that your organization has done its due diligence when selecting Weltman to represent you.
If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact REDG-Training&Development@weltman.com at your earliest convenience.
