Weltman Partner Invited to Return as President of the Board for MOD NE Ohio

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman) is pleased to announce that partner Sara M. Donnersbach has been invited to return as President of the Board of Directors for the Northeast Ohio Division of the March of Dimes. Each Division Board Chair also holds a seat on the Ohio State Board of Directors. The March of Dimes is a non-profit voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality.

Sara’s generous volunteer efforts are a true testament to her commitment to the community and the March of Dimes. As a member of the Division Board and along with other members, Sara will help to raise money to support the mission by actively participating in March of Dimes campaigns & events, attending fundraising programs, promoting the March of Dimes to the community, facilitating introductions for potential corporate sponsors, and assisting in the long range Division plans.

The March of Dimes funds important research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. They also strive to bring comfort and information to families whose baby was born too soon or sick. The March of Dimes supports research to find answers to the problems that threaten all babies. It is the only non-profit organization that found a cure for its original cause, and has gone on the greater mission.

Sara Donnersbach is a Partner in the Cleveland office, where her responsibilities include managing five practice groups: Government, Healthcare Collections, Utility, Community Bank and Landlord-Tenant Collections. Sara previously oversaw compliance issues with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan, Ohio State, and American Bar Associations.  Sara serves as President of both the board of directors for the Northern Ohio Credit Association, and the board of directors for the NE Ohio Division of the March of Dimes.  She was also appointed to the Business Executive Advisory Board for the Heidelberg School of Business (Berg Business Board) and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Healthcare Law Committee. Sara was selected for inclusion to the 2005, 2006, 2011 & 2012 Ohio Rising Stars list, and was also selected for Crain’s Cleveland Business magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40" in 2006. Sara earned her B.S. from Heidelberg College, her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and her M.B.A. from Cleveland State University.
