Burm Becomes Managing Attorney

The Real Estate Default Group (REDG) of Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman) congratulates Cheryl L. Burm on her selection as the managing attorney of the Weltman Ft. Lauderdale, Florida office. As the managing attorney, Cheryl will be working with the production management team in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office and staff.

Cheryl practices in the Real Estate Default Group focused on foreclosure related litigation and eviction services. She earned her B.S. from the University of Buffalo in 1996 and her J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2001. In addition, she earned an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami, School of Law in 2003. A member of the American, Florida, Broward County and Dade County Bar Associations, Cheryl is licensed in the state courts of Florida and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern & Southern Districts of Florida.

Lauderdale office that I am certain will flourish under Cheryl’s leadership.  I also owe a special ‘Thank you’ to Amy McGrotty for stepping up to fill this position in the interim.”
