Inspired by a sense of helping others, Jeff entered the field of law. Fast-forward several years later, Jeff has become a well-respected attorney with 35 years of experience advocating for the rights of creditors. Through the years, he has successfully litigated thousands of cases and obtained thousands of judgments, achieving a high rate of recovery for his clients.
Jeff represents banks, credit unions, credit card issuers, and insurance companies throughout all phases of the litigation and subrogation process. His clients look to him to provide timely and efficient recovery rates, so he is extremely focused on producing results. He takes pride in his ability to consistently achieve the highest scorecard ratings in terms of collection rates for his clients, compared to those of other firms.
Jeff once took on a subrogation case for a large insurance company against an auto repair facility. He had been litigating the case for nearly a year and the defendant refused to settle – until Jeff got creative. He subpoenaed five witnesses to support his case and had them all appear, ready to testify the morning of the trial. Needless to say, the defendant immediately agreed to a consent judgment for the full amount of the debt.
Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jeff is married and has one son, who recently graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. When he is not practicing law, he enjoys working out at the gym.
