Attorney Abigail Cody Now Licensed to Practice in Illinois

COLUMBUS -- Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, a full-service creditors' rights law firm with over 95 years of client service, is thrilled to announce that Attorney Abigail Cody was recently admitted to practice in Illinois!

Abigail represents the financial services industry, creditors, and lenders with a humane and client-focused approach. She helps clients with a large volume of delinquent consumer accounts accomplish their goals. Such clients benefit from a high-quality liaison between the company and consumers, who may be dealing with significant debt burdens.

When asked about the recent growth in her jurisdictional licensing, Abigail said, “I am excited to expand my practice into a dynamic jurisdiction like Illinois. Through serving our clients in both Ohio and Illinois, I can deepen my expertise in national creditor’s rights law while supporting and collaborating with two outstanding Weltman offices.”

“When Abby learned of our need for additional attorneys in the Illinois market, she showed great initiative in obtaining her license through the universal bar,” says Shareholder and Consumer Collections Group Chair David Head. “Abby is always looking for a challenge and career development. Adding a second state will help expedite her growth!”
