During his tenure as a clerk at Weltman, Eli had the opportunity to acquire valuable experience in the collections sector while concluding this third year of law school. Specifically, he helped with legal research as well as drafting post-judgment motions for relief, reply briefs, and motions for summary judgment. Working under shareholder Al Reis for a year proved immensely beneficial, providing Eli with a foundational understanding and a deep-seated passion for the practice area.
Eli’s creative approach to problem-solving, combined with his educational background, differentiates him from other attorneys in his field. From a young age, his strengths in school were always reading and writing. In college, he majored in public policy with the goal of pursuing law school after undergrad.
Outside of work, Eli has always loved watching and playing sports. Growing up he played hockey, lacrosse, and golf and still enjoys a round of golf today. He’s a huge fan of the Browns, Guardians, and Ohio State football. Other than sports, Eli enjoys photography and traveling, which often go hand in hand.
