Working hand-in-hand with leadership, Carolyn seeks to protect the firm’s greatest asset – our employees.
As the director of human resources, Carolyn leads all of the firm’s employee relations initiatives and helps drive overall business strategies. From the acquisition, development, and retention of talented employees, to the administration of performance and compensation, she fosters a productive working environment that aligns with the core values of the firm.
Through Weltman’s open-door policy and the fair and equitable treatment of each and every employee, Carolyn is reshaping organizational culture. She plays an active role in the firm’s equality, diversity, and inclusion committee, and is especially proud of the fact that nearly 75% of the firm is comprised of women. She also designed an employee engagement strategy that has improved morale, retained talent, and created continuity throughout each of the firm’s offices. With an emphasis on employee wellness, Carolyn also drives initiatives that promote active and healthy lifestyles, financial readiness, and community involvement.
Carolyn is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management, which strives to create better workplaces where employers and employees thrive together.
