Weltman Partner Invited to Serve on the Berg Business Board

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman) is pleased to announce that partner Sara M. Donnersbach has been invited to serve a three year term on the Heidelberg School of Business – Business Executive Advisory Board, Berg Business Board (BBB). The BBB provides oversight for business education curriculum at Heidelberg.

The BBB is involved in student recruiting and development, with activities performed both on campus and remotely. The mission is to guide, promote, advise and support the Heidelberg School of Business (HSB) in its effort to actualize the school’s vision to be a premier business school providing liberal arts based business education. As a member of the BBB, Sara will assist the Dean of HSB with various items such as advising on issues that impact the HSB mission and strategy, strengthening community outreach and service activities, promoting and facilitating student engagement and enrichment activities, supporting professional and career development opportunities, providing access to resources, as well as cultivating key relationships and serving as an advocate for HSB’s interests.

The Heidelberg School of Business strives to ensure the quality, rigor and relevance of its scholarly educational offerings and this annual enrichment event is a major initiative for the lifelong career development of interested students who are eager to lead a purposeful life with distinction. HSB aspires these extracurricular programs that highlight the symbiotic relationship between academia and practice.

Sara Donnersbach is a Partner in the Cleveland office, where her responsibilities include managing five practice groups: Government, Healthcare Collections, Utility, Community Bank and Landlord-Tenant Collections. Ms. Donnersbach previously oversaw compliance issues with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Ms. Donnersbach is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan, the Ohio State, and the American Bar Associations.  She serves as President of both the board of directors for the Northern Ohio Credit Association, and the board of directors for the NE Ohio Division of the March of Dimes.  Sara is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Healthcare Law Committee. She was selected for inclusion to the 2005, 2006, 2011 & 2012 Ohio Rising Stars list, and was also selected for Crain’s Cleveland Business magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40". Ms. Donnersbach earned her B.S. from Heidelberg College, her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and her M.B.A. from Cleveland State University.
