Weltman Partner Invited to Join Strongsville Education Foundation Board

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman), celebrating more than 80 years of creditors' rights service to clients, recognizes Partner Sara Donnersbach for her invitation to serve on the Strongsville Education Foundation (SEF) Board in 2015.

Created by a group of concerned community leaders, the SEF is an independent community organization raising and disbursing funds to support and foster creativity, innovation and outstanding achievement for students, teachers and the community served by Strongsville City Schools. The SEF inspires excellence in the schools by providing incentives to continue high performance standards, preserving valued traditions, and offering monetary needs beyond traditional funding. The SEF believes these dollars will continue to enhance the educational excellence that Strongsville parents and citizens have come to expect.

Sara Donnersbach is a Partner in Weltman's Cleveland office where her responsibilities include managing five collections practice groups: Government, Healthcare, Utility, Community Bank and Landlord-Tenant. A member of the Cleveland Metropolitan and Ohio State Bar Associations, Sara serves as President of the Board of Directors for both the Northern Ohio Credit Association and the March of Dimes Northeast Ohio Division. In addition to becoming a member of the Strongsville Education Foundation Board, she also serves on the Business Executive Advisory Board for the Heidelberg School of Business (Berg Business Board) and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association's Healthcare Law Committee. She earned her B.S. from Heidelberg College, her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and her M.B.A. from Cleveland State University.

About SEF
SEF was founded in 1984 and has since distributed more than $500,000 in grants and scholarships to support student learning and growth. Grants provide funds for innovative educational initiatives that often fall beyond the reach of the District's budget.  Scholarship programs extend the reach of family budgets, making college more accessible for Strongsville High School graduates.  The SEF also manages several endowed scholarship funds established by members of the community.
