Practicing exclusively in bankruptcy, Monette represents banks, financial service organizations, and student lenders in Illinois, Wisconsin, and bankruptcy courts nationwide. When her client’s borrowers file for bankruptcy, they know they can count on her to keep their interests protected. Whether the matter involves a Chapter 7, 11, 12, or 13 bankruptcy, her ability to manage any type of file – from routine matters to complex litigation – offers her clients a proficient, effective solution for all their recovery needs.

Monette began her career in bankruptcy as a Chapter 13 staff attorney for a Chapter 13 trustee. Now, with more than 30 years of experience under her wing, she applies her strong acumen of the practice in each and every case she represents. A client once commented on her work, stating “It was one of the most professional exchanges he’d had in his career.”

In her free time, Monette is an avid reader of mystery and suspense books. She also loves to cook. Her specialty is the ultimate Midwest comfort dish - macaroni and cheese.
