Jennifer approaches each recovery matter with the goal to be understanding and reasonable.

Jennifer focuses her practice on general consumer collections, including education-related receivable matters and credit union representation. Working directly with recovery managers and directors from various lenders, colleges, universities, student loan servicers and guarantors of student loans, she aims to stay up-to-date on important industry issues, so she can focus on achieving the solution that her clients ultimately want.

Jennifer has been named in nine consecutive editions of the Michigan Rising Stars list, 2012-2020, an honor awarded annually by Super Lawyers to no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state. She also is a frequent contributor for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and currently serves on the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, whose mission is to foster the highest quality of professionalism and practice in business law, and to enhance the legislative and regulatory environment for conducting business in Michigan.

A Detroit native, Jennifer is married with two daughters. She is involved with various animal rescue organizations, and has a special place in her heart for pugs.
