Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA Congratulates Amanda Yurechko for Being Invited to Join the Advisory Board for The Akron Law Review

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. congratulates Amanda R. Yurechko, an associate in the Cleveland office of Weltman, on being invited to join the Advisory Board for the Akron Law Review.

Amanda will be a part of the Alumni Advisory Board, newly established this year by the Akron Law Review to help mentor members and provide legal writing guidance. She will offer topic ideas and supply input to the editorial board as to which student notes and comments to publish. The Akron Law Review is a scholarly legal publication of The University of Akron School of Law that produces an annual volume of four issues for use by scholars, practitioners and judges. This is the fifth consecutive year that the Akron Law Review was ranked in the top 50 out of over 200 ABA-accredited and major foreign general, student-edited journals on the Washington and Lee impact rankings (based on citations per issue).

Amanda is an associate in Weltman Governmental Collections Group, Healthcare Collections Group and Utility Practice Group. She handles contested matters involving claims unpaid to municipalities, the State of Ohio, healthcare providers, as well as damage claims for utility providers. Amanda earned her B.A. in History, Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs from Miami University in 1997 and her J.D. cum laude from the University of Akron School of Law in 2000. A member of the Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations, Amanda is licensed in Ohio and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Northern District of Ohio).
