Weltman Wins Multiple Awards

Weltman was once again recognized during the 2010 Spring National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys Conference by several clients for our performance, commitment and dedication. Theresa Weinberg, Chuck Pona, Dave Tommer and Beth Francis represented the Firm at the conference held May 13-15th in Washington DC, along with over 700 industry professionals. Chuck Pona announced that Discover Financial Services presented Weltman with a 1st place trophy for Operational Results, and Atlantic Credit & Finance awarded Weltman with the Atlantic Credit & Finance Partnership Award. Both awards exemplify a commitment from our teams to provide outstanding service to our clients.

According to Cameron Gray from Atlantic Credit & Finance (ACF), "By definition a partnership is a relationship involving close cooperation between parties having specified and joint rights and responsibilities, Weltman is completely dedicated to this meaning". Cameron further describes Weltman as a company that "accepts challenge with resolve and attitude of a true winner. This is reflective of their character from their senior partners to their clerical staff, always providing ACF with class act service." The purpose of the partnership award is to recognize the magnitude of contribution and impact of results in advancing the vision and goals of ACF.

Theresa Weinberg shared favorable comments from Chase on our ongoing performance, in Weltman receiving a 'second place' award (out of five firms) in Chase’s recent performance ranking. "It is nice to be recognized for our hard work and dedication", explains Theresa. "It is a trend I see throughout the firm that truly reflects in the positive feedback we get from our clients."

Furthermore, Gary Marszal, the Associate Director of Legal Collections, received a special recognition from Chase for his management of the Chase Legal Program, and collector Sherri Viccarone of the Brooklyn Heights office received accolades for being the Top Collector in both the 4th quarter of '09 and the first quarter of '10.

“Receiving recognition awards from our clients shows that the entire Firm is working hard and wants to be the best,” said Alan Weinberg,. “Without our consistent dedication, recognition like this would not be possible. Thanks to everyone for all that you do!”
