Alan Weinberg, Managing Partner of the firm states, "I'm very pleased Mike is joining the other partners here at Weltman. He has proven himself to be a great asset to the firm and our clients, and adds yet another great level of leadership to the firm.”
Jim Valecko, Managing Partner of Weltman’s Pittsburgh and Chicago Offices, said, “Mike Dougherty took over the management of our Philadelphia office shortly after joining our firm back in 2004. Mike is a talented litigator who we discovered is also a tenacious debt collector. He has an extraordinary work ethic and rapport with his staff which has helped him to grow the office from four people in 2004 to over 30 today, covering both Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mike has been a tremendous asset to our firm and has helped us to solidify our presence on the East coast. It has been my pleasure to work with him over the last six years and to sponsor him for partnership.”
