The Equipment Leasing Recovery Bankruptcy Program (ELRBP) of Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. (WWR) works hand-in-hand with WWR's National Collateral Recovery Program to provide comprehensive bankruptcy representation for your entire lease portfolio. The first step of our approach involves communicating with debtors’ counsel to determine if the lease will be assumed or rejected. If the lease is assumed, we will prepare the necessary court pleadings. If the lease is rejected, we will determine the fair market value of the equipment, coordinate recovery and facilitate the liquidation of the equipment.
WWR has been representing the rights of creditors for over 75 years. We understand the intricacies involved with the collection and litigation of all types of equipment leasing
recovery matters. We are committed to helping you resolve these matters while always maintaining the highest degree of professionalism.
Services include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
• Preparing and Filing a Proof of Claim
• Communication with Debtor’s Counsel
• Motions to Assume/Reject Lease Agreements
• Valuation of Equipment
